“For The Working Classes”

For liberty they cried
For sovereignty they died
A machine gun's steady brattle
Slaughtered them like cattle
No warnings or ultimatums
The loyal soldiers slayed them
They all watched and laughed
They enjoyed the blood bath
For our freedom we rallied
For sovereignty we forged allies
Our brethren will have retribution
As we rise up to start a revolution
Government has no right to enslave
And not expect us to rise up enraged
They hide behind their fortress of power
Casting down laws from their ivory tower
Trying to overrun us with their Gestapo
Not even engaging genocide will stop us
We will not stop till the government falls
And we tore down every single wall
For independence we started a war
For democracy we raided the shores
They think they can end this with peace
As the blood of comrades stained the streets
A year later, and the last battle is won
Order has been restored to the nation
The people have regained all control
Rights have been restored to every soul
A single idea lit the wildfires of reform
Out of the chaos, a new nation was born
A Utopia has rising out of the cease-fire
Like a mighty phoenix from the fire
Sadly, I lost my fight with the crown
Despite my body being in the ground
For a new nation I sacrificed my life
For this generation I did what was right
The country is again for the working classes
And not the fat, greedy Socialist masses
