“Unshakable Devotion”

Sadly, this took two weeks to write due to illness. As I finished it, I came to realize I've done a synopsis of book three in a poetic form. Hopefully this flu will go away soon, and I can get back to some serious writing.

“Unshakable Devotion”

Words caressing the skin.
Flowing like a river of silk.
Rose petal kisses igniting
The fires inside their heart.
Paradise between the sheets
Protected by an angel's arms.
Utopia that has been missing
As part of their soul vanishes.
Voices heard over many miles
Is keeping love slowly beating.
A roar spreads across the sky
Reuniting their separated souls.
News of a forming souls inside
Leads to many exciting changes.
New roots begin to take hold
As familiar ground left behind.
Will the skeletons of past follow
Them into the uncertain future?
Armed with unshakable devotion,
As they face Fate into a new life.
