"Reflections"

 We danced in the rain;
Fought through the pain.
We wiped away the tears;
Faced our greatest fears.
Our hearts were shattered,
Our souls were left tattered.
On our pride, their egos fed.
Doubt seeped into our heads.
Looked through broken glass;
Saw reflections of our past.
Bared scars of our old lives.
Wondering how we survived.
We danced through the flames.
Every obstacle we overcame.
Only to grow older together.
A love that will last forever.
