And broken bottles.
Dreams shattered;
Our hopes toppled.
Nonstop fighting
No backing down.
Against the wall;
On the cold ground.
Emptied casings
Filling up morgues.
Their blood money
Paying out rewards.
All to push product
Flooding the streets.
Our future generation
Under those sheets.
Our cries ignored
By crooked cops.
Senseless killings
They will never stop.
Blood stained alleys
In the name of greed.
We will always rally
Until we are freed.

Seeing their soul.

A beating heart 

Totally exposed.

Words of passion

Igniting the flames.

Unbridled feelings 

No longer contained.

Our shadowy past

Revealed in the light.

Hopes of our future 

Now shining bright.

A dangerous dance

Entwining our souls.

One wrong misstep;

Leaves us in the cold.

Uncharted territory 

Guided by our hearts.

Serenity In our souls

As our new lives start.

Of peace and tranquility.
Our dreams left exposed
To our souls vulnerability.
As we return to an innocence
