Wings drench in blood unfurl
As we watch the morning sun.
A broken halo covered in dew
Wondering what we've done.
A single decision tarnishing
An unbreakable agreement.
My master will be displeased,
And I will face eternal torment.
Our souls consumed by lust;
Our hearts couldn't hold back.
We gave into desires of flesh.
Shattering the celestial pact.
An angel now forever banished
From the heavenly home above.
Refuse to denounce all feelings
For this lowly demon they love.
We walk amongst the shadows
Unsure what future awaits for us
With my angel always at my side,
Our lives will remain harmonious.

Neon injections fueling fiber optic dreams
Souls being replaced by relays and switches
Hearts beating to the march of propaganda
Imagination is a forgotten trait of humanity
Static hides analog screams of the faceless
Anarchy is conveniently available in pill form
Chaos slithers while wearing three-piece suits
Peace will flourish in the nuclear wasteland
Hopes and dreams are buried by censorship
Flames of ignorance fed empty brass casings
Serenity is self validation through strangers
All thoughts controlled by binary algorithms
Evolution is now manufactured from silicon
Nerves of copper powering devoid skeletons
Enslaved by the red tape forged from blood
As overlords watch from thrones of bones
A fire was brewing deep inside our society
Across screens, the sparks of change spread
I pray the world changes towards paradise
Not a footnote in the history of our planet.
